An hour with Jan Harvey.

On the 20th June 2012, we were very lucky as one of the lecturers from Queensland University of Technology paid a visit to our school. She was the lecturer of Mr. Mahfodz when he was studying. She helped Mr. Mahfodz in 2 Berlian. Maureen Woah, our mentor for native speaker program were also there.

Miss Jan Harvey started the lesson by introducing herself to the students. Mr. Mahfodz has prepared a lot of pictures for her. We learned about animals in Australia. Everyone seemed to enjoy the lesson. We did a lot of reading, singing and moving around. Jan shared her knowledge about kangaroo, koala and dingo. She brought some puppets.

 At the end of the lesson, Jan gave us some presents. We were lucky to have her in our school. It is hoped that we can receive more lecturers or vibrant people like her to help us learning. Than you, Jan.
